Asher's Coffee is a small-batch coffee roaster and cafe on Grandin Road in Roanoke's Grandin Village, run by culinary-school-trained owner Jacob Galbraith. Coffee is roasted in the shop from green beans, with light, medium and dark roasts, single-origin coffees and blends such as the Peruvian Cuddly Llama, poured as drip, pour-over and espresso drinks or sold as whole beans to take home. The kitchen adds chef-made items like the Waffledilla, a crispy cheese-and-tortilla waffle filled with roast beef and horseradish.
