Big Rail Brewing calls itself the funky little brewery in the woods, set on Mercer Butler Pike in Grove City, Pennsylvania. Its tap room and large back porch and patio are free and open to the public during posted hours, and a beer garden in the woods hosts an outdoor stage. The calendar is packed with free and ticketed concerts, tribute bands, open jams, bingo and game nights, beer releases, local markets and seasonal parties, with rotating food trucks serving on site.

Visitors love the laid-back, unique setting that feels like drinking beer in the woods with friends, with campfires, heated tents, live bands, a sandbox for kids and a dog-friendly crowd, along with a good variety of reasonably priced beers, though one reviewer reported a very long food truck line on a busy concert night.
