The French Way is a fast-casual restaurant on Westwood Boulevard in Los Angeles, near UCLA, that brought the French taco to Southern California. Owner Guillaume Condé, who moved to Los Angeles from France, founded it after finding no one else in the region making them. Its signature FrenchFolds are flour tortillas packed with meats such as chicken and shawarma, crispy fries and a secret cheese sauce, then pressed on a grill, and they can be customized with many sauces, cheeses and add-ons. The menu also includes loaded fries and burgers, a student combo, and late-night hours, with quick pickup, curbside service and office catering.
